The East Fork Irrigation District is an irrigation district, wholly within Hood River county, Oregon, organized in the year 1913 pursuant to the laws of the state of Oregon and thereafter, and prior to the year 1916, issued its bonds in the sum of $225,000 of which $82,000 is now outstanding and un paid. In the year 1918, the State Land Board of the state of Oregon loaned to defendants, H. F. Davidson and Mary B. Davidson, the sum of $4,500 from moneys of the common school fund and to secure payment thereof took a mortgage on the real property of said Davidsons, consisting of a farm lying…
