Plaintiff Guillermina Ramirez instituted this action against defendant City of Redondo Beach (City) to recover damages for personal injuries she sustained in an automobile collision allegedly caused by a dangerous condition of a public roadway. Following a pretrial hearing, the trial court denied the City’s motion for design immunity pursuant to Government Code section 830.6 1 and ruled against it on several vital evidentiary issues.
