The relator, Howland, claiming to he the owner by assignment of one share of the capital stock of the Olympia Yeneer Company, a domestic corporation, commenced this action in the superior court for Thurston county, seeking a writ of mandate to compel the company and its officers to cause the ownership of the share of stock tobe transferred upon its books from the assignor to him, and to accord to him all the rights appertaining to the ownership of such share of- stock.
