In a trial by general court-martial, the accused pleaded guilty and was convicted of three specifications of larceny, in violation of Article 121, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC § 921. His sentence was dishonorable discharge, total forfeitures, and confinement for eighteen months. Prior to the Article 32 investigation, before charges were referred for trial, the accused made a pretrial statement wherein he admitted stealing two typewriters.
