The accused was convicted by general court-martial of five offenses involving the sale, use, and transfer of heroin and marihuana, charged as violations of Article 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC § 934. The sentence adjudged provided for a dishonorable discharge, total forfeitures, and confinement at hard labor for seven years.
