The defendants, in each of two cases consolidated for trial, appeal from the judgments rendered therein, and the plaintiffs in the second case cross appeal from the judgment rendered in that case. Howard Russell, Sr. (Howard Sr.), the sole defendant in the first action (accounting action), appeals from the judgment rendered by the trial court on an accounting conducted pursuant to General Statutes § 52-401 et seq., whereby it was determined that he owed the plaintiffs, Charlotte Russell and Leigh R.
