In this marriage dissolution action, the plaintiff, Julie Way, appeals from the judgment of *190the trial court granting the motion of the defendant, Bryan Way, to open and modify the original dissolution decree for the purpose of reducing her household support. On appeal, the plaintiff claims that the court (1) lacked jurisdiction to open and modify the judgment pursuant to General Statutes § 52-212a because the defendant did not file his motion within four months following the date on which the judgment was rendered, (2) even if it had jurisdiction, improperly determined…
