Joseph Sway prosecutes this appeal from a judgment in favor of Ann Mae Wilcox, plaintiff and respondent, for damages suffered by reason of a collision of automobiles in the intersection of Arlington Avenue and West Adams Boulevard, in the city of Los Angeles, at 12:15 a. m., December 16, 1943. Plaintiff drove her Ford automobile .toward the north on Arlington, stopped at the southern boundary of West Adams, and then proceeded in low and second gears into the intersection.
