Plaintiff instituted suit against the city of St. Paul and others to have a building permit declared valid, to enjoin the defendants from interfering with the work of construction pursuant to a building permit issued to him on June 15,1950, and to enjoin enforcement of a zoning ordinance adopted by the city council of St. Paul on February 6,1951. The plaintiff obtained a temporary writ of injunction from the district court.
