LANDAU, J.
The defendant, Charles Hamen, appeals from the judgment of the trial court in favor of the plaintiff, Michael A. Kallas, in accordance with the report of an attorney trial referee.1 On appeal to this court, the defendant claims that the trial court improperly accepted the referee’s report,2 which concluded that the defendant is liable to the plaintiff for returning the plaintiffs earnest money deposit on a condominium unit. We affirm the judgment of the trial court.
