The plaintiff, Michael Coppola, appeals1 from the decision of the compensation review board (board) affirming the decision of the workers’ compensation commissioner for the third district (commissioner) dismissing for lack of jurisdiction the plaintiffs claim pursuant to the Workers’ Compensation Act (state act), General Statutes § 31-275 et seq.
