In this action for contribution, plaintiff appeals from summary judgment in defendant’s favor. The parties agree on the underlying facts.

In 1978, a student was injured in an explosion which occurred during a chemistry experiment at Astoria Middle School. The student and his parents filed a negligence action against the student’s teacher, Kani Rowland, and the Clatsop County School District. Rowland and the district were insured under a policy of insurance issued by plaintiff, with a policy limit of $100,000.
