Accused was charged with murder, robbery and absence without leave, in violation of Articles 118, 122, and 86, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 50 U.S.C. §§ 712, 716, and 680. He was acquitted of the charge of murder, and found guilty of the lesser included offense of larceny under the robbery charge and guilty of the absence without leave. He was sentenced to a dishonorable discharge, total forfeitures, and confinement for twenty years. Army reviewing authorities upheld the findings and sentence.
