The defendant city of Stamford moves to dismiss the present action on the ground that the plaintiffs, Charles Lupinacci and Alfred Lupinacci, lack standing to sue. The city argues that at the time the present action was commenced, the plaintiffs were not the owners of the premises at issue and that those premises were owned by Colonial Land Limited Partnership (Limited), a Delaware partnership. In support, the city has submitted copies of the land records of the city of Stamford, which reveal that on December 30, 1998, there were recorded instruments…
