The plaintiff Seeley seeks recovery of damages, alleged to have resulted to him from the unlawful conversion by the defendant Peabody of certain dairy livestock, feed and equipment, being all of the personal property of a dairy plant operated by Seeley. The larger portion of the property was held by Seeley under a conditional sale contract executed by Peabody. The balance of the property belonged to Seeley, free from all rightful claim of Peabody under the conditional sale contract or otherwise.
