Two different sets of plaintiffs brought separate actions to recover damages resulting from the destruction of a garage building and certain of its contents by fire alleged to have been communicated from an over-heated stage that had been parked in the garage overnight. The plaintiffs Som-mer, who operated the garage, sought to recover for the destruction of their general garage equipment and tools, their stock of merchandise, two automobiles, and the business theretofore conducted by them.
