SULLIVAN, J.

In this action in eminent domain the condemnee, Mahria Decker, appeals from a judgment which awarded compensation in the amount of $29,012 for the taking of her single family residence for public airport purposes.

In September 1967 the Board of Airport Commissioners (Board) determined to expand and enlarge the Los Angeles International Airport (Airport) and to that end passed a resolution authorizing the acquisition of the subject properties, situated in an area comprised of single family residences adjacent to the north runways of the Airport.
