This is an action to recover withdrawal liability payments allegedly owed to a pension fund.
Plaintiff, Fred Smit, is Chairman of the Board of Teamsters Local 445 Freight Division Pension Fund, 1 which is a multiemployer pension benefit plan under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (“ERISA”), 29 U.S.C. § 1001, et seq.
