SCOVEL, Senior Judge:

A general court-martial composed of a military judge sitting alone convicted the appellant, pursuant to his pleas, of involuntary manslaughter and assault consummated by a battery upon a child under 16 years of age in violation of Articles 119 and 128, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. §§ 919 and 928.
