In this case of first impression, we are asked to determine when the 30-day period for filing a petition for review of a Utilization Review Organization (URO)1 report, as specified in Section 306(f.1)(6)(iv) of the Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Act (Act), 77 P.S. § 531(6)(iv), commences, and, concomitantly, tolls, rendering an after-filed petition time-barred and consequently unreviewable.2 The Commonwealth Court held that Section 306(f.1)(6)(iv) of the Act is ambiguous regarding when such 30-day time period begins, and therefore, ends.
