Plaintiff Jean Francis, a Seventh Day Adventist, has sued Thomas Perez, Secretary of the Department of Labor (“DOL”), under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e et seq. She alleges that she was discriminated against by her superiors on the basis of religion, refused a reasonable accommodation for her religious practices, and retaliated against for complaining about her supervisors’ alleged discrimination.
