The issue presented here is “whether the discharge of appellant under other than honorable conditions pursuant to his resignation for the good of the service abated the court-martial proceedings.”
*373Appellant was tried by a general court-martial without members. The trial was convened at Frankfurt, Federal Republic of Germany. He was charged with drunk and reckless driving, and involuntary manslaughter, in violation of Articles 111 and 119, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. §§ 911 and 919, respectively.
