Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, Child Protective Services Division, Dallas County Unit (CPS) sought to terminate the parental rights of Mother to her son, K.C., under Tex.Fam.Code § 161.001. Mother appeals a judgment on the jury’s verdict to terminate. In two issues, she argues (i) the evidence is factually insufficient to support the jury’s finding that termination was in K.C.’s “best interest” and (ii) her appeal is not procedurally barred by Tex.Fam.Code § 263.405, as CPS and K.C.’s guardian contend.
