NARICK, Senior Judge.

Joy Technologies (Employer) appeals from an order of the Workmen’s Compensation Appeal Board (Board) which affirmed in part, and reversed in part, the referee’s decision modifying William B. Heeter’s (Claimant) workmen’s compensation benefits.

Employer employed Claimant as a grinder. On February 21, 1980, Claimant sustained a work-related injury to his left groin and upper left leg. Except for brief periods of employ*11ment for Employer, Claimant has remained totally disabled and continues to receive workmen’s compensation benefits.
