TITUS, District Judge.

Introduction

The parties to a contract for the sale of a business 1 negotiated for over two years in an effort to resolve their differences over certain financial adjustments and other post-closing obligations. When the negotiations failed, the sellers filed suit. Over seven weeks after denial of a motion to dismiss two counts of the complaint and almost one year after suit was filed, the merged acquisition subsidiary of the buyer filed a motion to disqualify the attorneys who had continuously represented the sellers during the negotiations leading up to…
