Pursuant to section 1458 of the Civil Practice Act, Deering, Milliken & Co. Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “ Deering”) served a notice of intention to conduct an arbitration upon the Eimco Corporation (hereinafter referred to as “Eimco ”) with respect to controversies arising out of four contracts whereby Eimco agreed to purchase Saran filter fabric from Peering.
