COOK, Judge:

Tried by general court-martial, military judge alone, the accused was convicted, pur*438suant to his pleas, of discharging a firearm in violation of a lawful general regulation, assault with intent to commit voluntary manslaughter, and unlawfully carrying a concealed weapon, in violation of Articles 92 and 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. §§ 892 and 934, respectively. The military judge sentenced the accused to a dishonorable discharge, confinement at hard labor for 3 years and 6 months, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, and reduction to private…
