This case arises from an interlocutory appeal. Appellant was arraigned in a general court-martial convened at Travis Air Force Base, California, on two specifications of •wrongful use of methamphetamine and marijuana on divers occasions, in violation of Article 112a, Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), 10 U.S.C. § 912a (2006). Prior to entering pleas, Appellant, through counsel, moved to dismiss the charge and specifications alleging a violation of his right to a speedy trial under Article 10, UCMJ, 10 U.S.C. § 810 (2006).
