On March 12, 1971, plaintiff Mollie Nussbacher, a stockholder of the Leasco Data Processing Equipment Corporation (“Leas-co”) commenced this action against Chase Manhattan Bank and other institutional defendants, as well as the directors of Leasco, seeking damages for alleged violations of Regulations G, T and U, 12 C.F.R. §§ 207, 220, 221, promulgated by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System pursuant to Section 7 of the Securities and Exchange Act of 1934, 15 U.S.C. § 78g, (“The Exchange Act”).
