TIMMONS-GOODSON, Judge.

John Littleton Thompson (“defendant”) appeals from his conviction and resulting sentence entered upon jury verdicts finding him guilty of misdemeanor stalking and communicating threats. For the reasons stated herein, we uphold defendant’s conviction.

The evidence before the trial court tended to show the following: Adolph Bomba (“Bomba”) testified for the State. Bomba stated that he was a resident of Emerald Isle, North Carolina, and was acquainted with defendant as well as the alleged victim, Saundra Wood (“Wood”).
