State v. Stagnitta
Connecticut Appellate Court
1Opinion of the Court
Opinion
MCDONALD, J.
The defendant, Victor Stagnitta, appeals from the judgment of conviction, rendered after a jury trial, of burglary in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-101 (a) (1) and larceny in the third degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-124 (a) (2).1 On appeal, the defendant claims that the state presented insufficient evidence to sustain his conviction of burglary in the first degree because it failed to present evidence that he unlawfully entered or *609remained in a building, as is required for a conviction of burglary in the first degree.2 We disagree.
