The defendant, Bernard Thomas, was convicted after a jury trial of robbery in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-134 (a) (3), burglary in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-101 (a) (1), kidnapping in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-92 (a) (2) (B), and carrying a dangerous weapon in violation of General Statutes § 53-206.
