OTIS, Justice.

The petitioner Roger Claybaugh appeals from the amended judgment and decree of marital dissolution and from an order denying his motion for reconsideration. We remand for additional findings.

At the time of the original judgment and decree, the parties had entered into a stipulation dated April 8, 1977, and amended April 23, 1977. By its terms, the appellant-husband was awarded title to the parties’ homestead, which had a fair market value of approximately $40,000, subject to a mortgage and an additional encumbrance totall-ing $11,588.26.
