The defendant, Thomas W., appeals, upon our grant of certification, from the judgment of the Appellate Court affirming the trial court’s judgment of conviction of two counts of risk of injury to a child in violation of General Statutes (Rev. to 2003) § 53-21 (a) (1), one count of risk of injury to a child in violation of § 53-21 (a) (2), and one count of sexual assault in the fourth degree in violation of General Statutes (Rev. to 2003) § 53a-73a (a) (1) (A).
