In this certified appeal, the defendant, Oles J. Baptiste, appeals from the judgment of the Appellate Court, which affirmed the judgment of conviction, rendered after a jury trial, on charges of one count of assault of a peace officer in violation of General *48Statutes § 53a-167c (a), and two counts of interfering with an officer in violation of General Statutes § 53a-167a (a). We granted the defendant’s petition for certification limited to the following question: “Did the Appellate Court properly conclude that the defendant waived any constitutional or plain error claim…
