delivered the opinion of the court.

Bohumil Routa, plaintiff, brought suit in assumpsit against the Royal League, a fraternal benefit society, defendant, to recover an amount alleged to be due upon a benefit certificate of insurance issued to Josie Lukes, January 24, 1918, which provided for the payment of $1,000 to plaintiff upon insured’s death while in good standing in the order. The trial court entered judgment for the amount of the certificate and interest totaling $1,040, after overruling defendant’s demurrer to plaintiff’s replications to the amended pleas…
