Plaintiff Joseph Szaller claims that the American National Red Cross and the American Red Cross Greater Chesapeake and Potomac Blood Services Region (collectively the “Red Cross”) wrongfully discharged him in violation of Maryland law. Szaller contends that he was unlawfully terminated for reporting alleged violations of Food and Drug Administration regulations and a consent decree to a Red Cross hotline.
