After a plea of guilty to a violation of Article 86, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 50 USC § 680, and not guilty to a violation of Article 121, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 50 USC § 715, the accused was convicted by general court-martial of both offenses and sentenced to a bad-conduct discharge, partial forfeitures, and confinement at hard labor for twelve months.
