Defendant appeals as of right from the judgment of the Court of Claims that it was liable to plaintiff in the amount of $27,313, plus interest and costs. In so ruling, the court rejected defendant’s argument that plaintiff’s personal injury claim should be barred by governmental immunity and the exclusive remedy provision of the Workers’ Disability Compensation Act, MCL 418.131; MSA 17.237(131). We reverse the judgment of the trial court.
