This is an enforcement action by the Securities Exchange Commission (“SEC”) against former executives of StarMedia Network, Inc. (“StarMedia” or the “Company”) for accounting fraud. The SEC brings claims under the Securities Act of 1933 (“Securities Act”) and the Exchange Act of 1934 (“Exchange Act”). In a previous decision, the Court allowed certain claims against defendant Betsy Scolnik (“Scolnik”) to survive her motion to dismiss. SEC v.
