Plaintiffs brought this action in the district court of Carbon County to recover a money judgment against the defendants under the terms of a written lease of farm lands situated near Wellington, Utah. The complaint was in the usual form of actions on contract alleging a balance due and owing the plaintiffs from the defendants in the sum of $550, for which plaintiffs prayed judgment.
