Wanda J. Haekathorn appeals from summary judgment granted in favor of Gene Lee Preisse, Jr. on her wrongful death action. We affirm.

In separate actions, Haekathorn sued Preisse and the Springfield Local School District Board of Education (“Springfield”) for wrongful death and conscious pain and suffering stemming from the death of her mother, Maxine Haekathorn (“the decedent”).
