The documentation and literature of this case is of truly gargantuan proportions. The record proper 1 comprises some thirteen large volumes; there is also on file here what the Commission calls a Supplemental Record consisting of 849 pages; the abridgement contained in the printed joint appendix is of three large volumes— as much as a small library.
