*465This is a workmen’s compensation case in which the only question is as to the amount of compensation to which the employee is entitled.

On November 18, 1953, in his work he suffered an accidental injury to the brain wholly disabling him to work. His employer’s insurer began paying him $26.72 per week (60% of his weekly wage — the amount then provided by our statute (T.C.A. sec. 50-1007(a)) for "temporary total disability”), and had him hospitalized and treated by its doctors. It continued such treatment for more than a year (with periodic examinations of him by its doctors up to April 1958)…
