Plaintiffs-appellants, Emma and Myron Atkins, appeal from a summary judgment rendered in favor of defendant-appellee, General Motors Corporation (“GM”), with respect to Mrs. Atkin’s products liability action, involving the hinges on the side cargo door of the Atkinses’ GM-manufactured van, and Mr. Atkin’s derivative loss of consortium claim.
