This suit was brought by J. F. Cheek in the district court of Foard county against the Texas & Pacific Railway Company, Kansas City, Mexico & Orient Railway Company of Texas, Kansas City, Mexico & Orient Railway Company, and the Missouri Pacific Railway Company to recover of said defendants damages alleged to have been received by him in the transportation of 17 cars of cattle delivered at Colorado, Tex., on April.27, 1909, for shipment to Hale, Kan., over the lines of said defendants. The suit was tried on the 30th day of October, 1912, and resulted in a judgment in favor of the plaintiffs…
