This was a bill in chancery, brought under the provisions of section 72 of the “Act to provide for drainage for agricultural and sanitary purposes and to repeal certain acts therein named, ” approved June 27, 1885, by the Commissioners of the Bast Lake Fork Special Drainage District against the Wabash, St. Louis and Pacific Railway Company and the Wabash Eastern Railway Company of Illinois, to foreclose the lien of a certain assessment for drainage purposes, upon that portion of what has heretofore been known as the Wabash, St. Louis and Pacific Railroad which lies within said district.
