MEMORANDUM OPINION

I. INTRODUCTION

The Seafarers International Union of North America, Atlantic, Gulf Lakes and Inland Waters District ["SIU," "union," or "appellant"] contests the jury verdict and judgment rendered in the Territorial Court, finding it liable for losses sustained by Shirley Thomas ["Thomas" or "appellee"]. Specifically, SIU appeals the Territorial Court's denial of its motion for judgment as a matter of law, pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 50.
