The transcript in this case, having been filed in this court, the attorneys for the respondents submitted a motion to dismiss the appeal upon several grounds, which I will proceed to notice. The first ground is that the notice of appeal is not signed by the appellant’s attorneys in the court below, but purports to have been signed by Messrs. Murphy and Knight, who were not his attorneys of record in the court below.
