MEMORANDUM AND ORDER

LUNGSTRUM, District Judge.

This is a race discrimination case arising out of plaintiffs employment with the Health Department of the Unified Government of Wyandotte County/Kansas City, Kansas. Plaintiff is an African American female who Contends that she was discriminated against and retaliated against by defendants in the course of her employment. Specifically, plaintiff alleges that defendants, because of plaintiffs race, refused to increase plaintiffs salary to a competitive rate after she completed training through a federally funded program and obtained certification…
